June Wang holds a Master’s degree in Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xián, Shannxi, China and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kansas. She finished the Teaching Credential program from the University of San Francisco, California and held the Math Teaching Credential issued by California Department of Education. She currently holds the Texas Standard Certificate.
From 2004-2007, Wang taught at California High School in San Ramon, California, Youth Empowerment School in Oakland, California and Livermore Valley Charter School in Livermore, California. June went to Shanghai, China, in 2007 with her husband and two older children, where she worked as a self-employed college application consultant to provide assistance to local Chinese students planning to study abroad. Starting in 2010, she started homeschooling her four children by joining two Christian home-school co-ops in Shanghai. She contributed to the co-ops as an academic advisor, math teacher, Chinese teacher, and the coach for American Mathematics Competition club. In the mathematics field, she has taught general math, pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, intermediate algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, AP Statistics and AP Calculus.
Wang graduated with a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from the Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, Shannxi, China, majoring in Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering. She graduated with a Master’s degree from Kansas State University, majoring in Industrial Engineering. She graduated with a Math Teaching Credential from the University of San Francisco.

What church do you go to and what ministries are you involved with?:
June Wang goes to Allen Heights Baptist Church in Allen, TX. She participates in Sunday schools, prayer meetings, and Bible studies. She is also involved with Children’s Sunday School, Child Care, the Youth Fishin’ Mission ministry, and Vacation Bible Schools.
What do you want to teach at the Camerata School?:
I can teach any k-12 math subject.

June Wang was born and raised in China. She met her husband at Kansas State University where both of them were pursuing graduate degrees. They got married and had their first two children in Kansas. They lived in Kansas for six years and then in the San Francisco Bay Area for six years. They moved to Shanghai, China and lived there for seven years. Their twin daughters were born a year after they lived in Shanghai, on June’s birthday! They moved to the Dallas area in 2014. June Wang likes reading and music. Her favorite book is ‘Queen of Dark Chamber’ by Christiana Tsai.
